We, Bart and Klaar , work together since 2005 as a duo and are based on the NDSM, Amsterdam. We are working with ideas rather than objects and try to think about social processes in a visual way . From an independent and critical position we are trying to get a conversation going between different disciplines and schools of thought. On art and idealism. We participate actively in the public debate about authorship and the city.
Our practice at this moment consist of doing projects at home and abroad. Partly on request, partly initiated by ourself. We are giving workshops and classes in education, government and business. Moderating and conduct of public and Socratic talks. We do all kinds of productional work to provide additional income.
Recent collaborations brought us in Hamburg (D) Amsterdam, Zaandam, Almere. Breda, London (E), Moengo and Pikin Slee, Suriname, Lima and El Infierno, Peru, Willemstad (CU)

Threading in our projects is the theme of authorship in the public sphere. For the future we want to develop a practice from our experience in which this everyday authorship is central.
